Personal Data
“Personal data” means any information relating to a natural person who is or can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person.
Purpose of Data Collection
As a Controller, RIS d.o.o. Kastav (address: Pilepčić 10, 51215 Kastav, OIB: 77917801452; contact: info@ris.hr) collects personal data for the purpose of improving the content quality and functionality of the website, as well as for achieving business collaboration and responding to inquiries made by visitors. The legal basis for collection of personal data is contained in Article 6 (1) (b) and (f) of the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and the Council (General Data Protection Regulation).
Collecting and Processing Personal Data
Personal information that visitors enter when signing up for a particular event or asking questions is used for future communication regarding the subject of the application or query. Sending personal data is voluntary. In case visitors refuse to enter personal information, it won’t be possible to establish communication.
The data is stored in the RIS database and is kept for up to maximum three years from the end of the activities related to the subject of communication. In case that the aforementioned communication results in the conclusion of the contract, the information shall be kept for the entire duration of the contract.
RIS will not disclose personal information to a third party unless it is legally binding.
Cookies
RIS reserves the right to use cookies on its web site. Cookies are the information that a web site stores on a visitor’s computer. Cookies on RIS pages store settings related to the customization of a site to every individual visitor, such as a preferred language or address. Next time the visitor opens the same webpage, the web browser sends data from the cookies that belong to that page. Websites that use cookies can not gain access to information that are not enabled and can not access any other files on a visitor’s computer.
Cookies are also used to track and analyze the use and visits of RIS websites. We use Google Analytics provided by Google Inc. (“Google”) for this purpose.
The visitor can automatically ban storing cookies on their own computer or delete them. Cookie settings can be controlled and configured in Internet browser settings.
In case of blocking cookies, the visitor will not be able to use some of the functionalities on the RIS Web site.
Accessing or deleting your information
In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation, a visitor has the right to request access to their personal data from RIS d.o.o., as well as to request their correction or deletion. In addition, the visitor has the right to limit the processing of data related to him, to object to such processing and to data transferability.

In case they believe that the rights related to the protection of personal data have been violated, visitors may file a complaint to the supervisory authority, in particular in the EU Member State where they have a habitual residence, where their place of work is or in the place where the alleged breach happened.
